My Therapeutic Orientation & Style

I use an integrative approach, tailoring therapy to fit each client’s needs rather than following a rigid framework. My perspective is informed by cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), relational, family systems, psychodynamic, and person-centered models, allowing for depth, flexibility, and practical solutions.
Therapy with me is interactive and directive. I combine active, compassionate listening with direct feedback to facilitate meaningful progress.
Whether we’re addressing emotional struggles, improving communication, or working toward personal transformation, I ensure our conversations remain intentional and effective, helping you build confidence and develop valuable skills for navigating life’s complexities.
My Book:
Communicating Courageously

Conflict in close relationships is inevitable—how we navigate it makes all the difference. In Communicating Courageously: Hear, Be Heard, and Connect in Your Closest Relationships, I offer a practical, deep dive into understanding the nuances of communication in close relationships. Drawing from decades of clinical experience, I break down the complexities of dialogue, conflict resolution, and relational patterns into actionable tools.

The book provides:
-
A step-by-step guide to effective communication, including when and how to share, listen, and respond.
-
Strategies to overcome common communication struggles and break unhealthy patterns.
-
Engaging visuals, flowcharts, checklists, and self-reflection exercises to strengthen understanding and practice key skills.
-
Countless real-life insights to help you apply these concepts in meaningful ways.
With the Share-Hear-Care model as your guide, Communicating Courageously teaches an approach that fosters deeper connection rather than harm during conflict. More than a book—it’s a resource to support lasting growth, both inside and outside of therapy.
